He has conducted searches in various industries including Professional Services, Financial Services, Aerospace and Defense Technologies, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, New Media, Consumer Packaged Goods, Energy/Natural Resources, and Manufacturing. Within these industries, his clients include major for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare systems, diverse energy companies, major non-profit organizations, global aerospace and defense conglomerates, leading professional services organizations, national associations, major insurance companies, investment banks, leading consumer packaged goods companies, mortgage lenders, securities exchanges, securities brokers, and major consumer goods distributors.

Before starting his search career, Winston's business experience included positions with a hedge fund, an emerging technology company, new media and the specialty foods industry. His focus was in operations, administration management, sales and marketing. Winston began his professional career with D. E. Shaw & Company.

Based in the firm's New York office, Winston conducts searches throughout the continental United States as well as internationally.

Personal and Professional Activities
Winston has been involved with contributing to various YMCAs, local animal shelters and children's groups. He supports his alma mater as an alumni interviewer. He is a tenor with the New York Choral Society, whose mission is to enrich the cultural life of the New York community by acting as music ambassadors at home and abroad as well as fostering community outreach, music education and youth participation.

Winston graduated with honors from Dartmouth College.
