Experience
John Weigold brings over 15 years of executive search experience to RHI Executive Search. He concentrates on senior executive search assignments in the industrial, technology and financial services industry sectors, including functional assignments in the areas of finance, technology, and operations. John specializes in serving the human capital needs of private equity portfolio organizations, for which he has completed numerous C-level executive management assignments.

Prior to joining RHI Executive Search, John spent ten years leading executive searches at two global executive search firms. He focused on the private equity, industrial and information technology sectors, including manufacturing, finance, logistics, supply chain, telecommunications, and hardware and software systems. John has successfully completed searches for Fortune 500, private equity portfolio and early-stage companies placing CEOs, Presidents, COOs, CFOs, CIOs and Vice Presidents in most line and staff functions.

John currently holds the rank of Captain in the United States Navy Reserve. He completed a two-year recall to active duty service in 2008, leading all U.S. Navy operations in Korea. Earlier in his career, he served five years on board two Navy destroyers, where he was in charge of weapons, electronics, and engineering and navigation systems.

Based in the firm’s New York office, John conducts searches throughout the United States.

Personal and Professional Activities
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland. He resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife and four children and enjoys sailboat racing on Long Island Sound.
